11 Jun sees.ai Secures BVLOS Regulatory Authorisation from the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) under PDRA G-03
sees.ai is pleased to announce that we have received approval from the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) for operations conducted under PDRA G-03. This authorisation now allows us to fly Beyond Visual Line of Site (BVLOS) in specific locations in Ireland, marking a significant milestone in our operational capabilities.
PDRA G-03 is part of a standardised European framework established by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) that enables drone operators to conduct BVLOS operations across EU Member States under harmonised safety standards. This EASA pre-defined risk assessment provides a streamlined pathway for regulated operators to perform complex drone missions while maintaining the highest levels of aviation safety and regulatory compliance.
As one of the few companies with this permission, this authorisation reflects sees.ai’s unwavering commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and continued innovation in automatic drone technology for infrastructure inspection. The EASA PDRA framework ensures that sees.ai operations meet rigorous European aviation standards, providing clients with confidence in the company’s technical capabilities and regulatory adherence.
John McKenna, CEO of sees.ai said:
We look forward to using our PDRA-G03 authorisation to enhance our service offerings and expand our operational footprint across Ireland and potentially other EU markets where EASA regulations apply.
