sees.ai exhibits at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

From 11th to 14th July, sees.ai exhibited at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024. Held in the parkland surrounding the iconic Goodwood House and motorsports track, this festival is one of the biggest events in the UK automotive industry’s calendar.

Our pioneering tech was featured as part of Future Lab by Randox, Goodwood’s international innovation pavilion. At Future Lab, hundreds of thousands of visitors had the chance to discover the future of aviation, robotics, artificial intelligence and other transformative technologies.

Inside Future Lab

With stunning design, our Future Lab stand gave visitors the chance to experience sees.ai’s tech hands-on. Attendees could supervise their own mission at our simulators, interact with live sensors mounted on a full-size sees.ai drone, and ask our engineers and programmers questions about their ground-breaking work.

Across the four days of the exhibition, we welcomed guests and partners from Boeing, Aerospace Xelerated, National Grid, and other world-leading infrastructure and industry organisations. This was an incredible opportunity to showcase our centralised, connected autonomous drone flight platform, and demonstrate how we’re building the future of critical national infrastructure.

Alongside our high-profile guests, we also had visitors of all ages trying out our interactive displays. Future Lab has a vision to inspire the next generation with unforgettable science and tech experiences, and we share this vision too. Hourly STEM tours gave us a chance to introduce aspiring scientists, engineers and programmers to our pioneering work.

Technology for a Better World

sees.ai was part of the ‘Future of Flight’ cluster, one of four specialised groupings within the exhibition. From UAVs, to data platforms, to specialised vehicles, we were amongst exceptional company – exhibiting alongside the most exciting innovators in our field.

Fellow exhibitors included Dronamics, the world’s first cargo drone airline, and Royal Mail, showcasing their ongoing autonomous drone delivery trial. Meanwhile, Windracers presented their ULTRA Self-Flying Aircraft, an autopiloted fixed-wing cargo drone that brings drones firmly into the world of aviation.

Even beyond our cluster, autonomy and robotics were dominant themes. Remote robotics company Shadow Robot represented their ‘robots for good’ policy, working with NASA and MIT to develop powerful, constructive uses for their tech. In turn, Dexory (the real-time data intelligence platform for fully autonomous warehouse robots) showed that data-driven autonomy is even leading the way on land.

It was inspiring and encouraging to be amongst such a strong cohort; especially one that shared so many concepts, principles and points of view with sees.ai. This year’s Future Lab theme – ‘Technology for a Better World’ – exemplifies our shared vision.

A Huge Thank You

We were proud to be invited to showcase our tech at the heart of such an iconic festival. It was an absolute joy to see our engineers showing off their work, brilliantly representing the innovations they work hard to develop every day. sees.ai would like to thank the Goodwood and Future Lab teams, event sponsors, and all of our guests for being part of this unforgettable event.
